Evolutionary biologist Dr. Ford Doolittle has been named a Companion of the Order of Canada 鈥斅爐he highest honour in the Order 鈥斅爄n recognition of a scholarly career that has upended our understanding of the natural world and helped made Canada a global leader in genome evolution.

This year鈥檚 DPMG Awards recognize eight exceptional professionals whose leadership, innovation, and service continue to strengthen Dalhousie鈥檚 mission and enrich the university community in meaningful, lasting ways.
